Associate Investigator Scheme

The aim of the Associate scheme is to connect researchers, who are unlikely to be active in patient recruitment, to the members within the CTN. This is done by being kept informed about upcoming events and engaging in CTN activities.

Key benefits

  • Invitation to CTN investigator meetings
  • Receive the CTN Newsletter
  • Informed about clinical trials adopted by the CTN

An Associate Investigator would not be expected to recruit patients, but they would need to renew their membership every two years. There are no conditions attached for membership renewal, however by renewing your membership every two years allows the system to be continuously updated. As with other schemes, an Associate Investigator will be required to provide a recent photo, a short biography and CV. A Good Clinical Practice Certificate is not required.

The CTN will organise two events every year for investigators, both of which will have a training component and provide an opportunity for investigators to develop their own ideas and studies.

Prospective members wishing to undertake the Associate Investigator scheme should select this option when registering on our Join the CTN page.
